Wish You Were Here, Sarah Palmer (CA) | Exhibition

Tineretului Park Sector 4, București

Wish You Were Here explores the rise of "last-chance tourism" in the face of the climate crisis, where travelers visit threatened destinations before they vanish. Spanning four continents over ten years, Palmer's work contrasts idyllic vacation spots with the harsh realities of climate change—melting glaciers, rising seas, and dying coral reefs. Her imagery intentionally juxtaposes leisure with the unsettling truth of our environmental decline.

Dysnomia, Alexandre Dupeyron (DE) | Exhibition

Văcărești National Park București

Alexandre Dupeyron’s artistic projects have come together in Dysnomia, presented as a book, a live projection mixing his photos with a 60-minute music piece by Thomas Julienne's "Theorem of Joy," and an exhibition where he reinterprets his black-and-white work in color using a gum bichromate process.

The Angels of Nazareth, Hugo Weber – FR | Exhibition

Pasajul Mihai Bravu București

The community of Nazareth, managed by Caritas Spes, is a center for IDPs, mutilated soldiers, and drug addicts on the outskirts of Drohobych, Ukraine. Once a secret Soviet military base, it now symbolizes Ukrainian resilience and the quest for a national identity amidst ongoing conflict. The center brings together diverse individuals united by war, sharing stories of suffering and hope. This project aims to depict their daily lives, highlighting their struggle for normalcy and national pride. Since arriving six months ago, I’ve been moved by the Ukrainians’ gratitude and hospitality, and this work seeks to share their human drama and desire for peace.

The Sleeping Land | Film Screening

Czech Centre Strada Ion Ghica 11, Bucharest

The Sleeping Land (La Tierra Dormida) is an ode to daily routine, an evocative litany and at the same time a desperate attempt to update and clarify our perception of unknown everyday Siberian issues as well as those of these far and remote eastern regions. This land has always been part of the authors’ traveling imagery for as long as they can remember. A sleeping frozen land waiting for the icy sting to pass, breaking the glacial silence that accompanies it…

IF… YOU CAN IMAGINE, Ionuț Maga – RO | Exhibition
