COMMUNITY CALL
Looking for a rewarding experience at Romanian Capital City’s international photography festival? Volunteering at Bucharest Photofest is a great way to discover artists, curators, stories and events related to photography. You make new friends from all around the world, learn new skills, create memories for a lifetime and most of all have a great time doing it!
Whatever the subject matter, throughout this year’s festival we look to emergent forms of image making, exploring how artists are pushing the limits of the photographic medium, and questioning what constitutes photographic practice in the modern age.
We welcome everyone, including locals, international residents, and expats, to join our team and help make Bucharest Photofest a smashing success!
You don’t need to be a photographer to join the Bucharest Photofest team. We’re always on the lookout for folks to help with the construction crew, guided tours, and as hosts/hostesses. You’ll get to meet enthusiastic visitors, talented photographers, and incredible fellow volunteers. In return for your efforts, you can attend all festival events for free, rock the original crew t-shirt, and, if needed, we will provide contract and diploma.
Please note that Bucharest Photofest does not provide accommodation, insurance, flights or ground transport for volunteers: these are the sole responsibility of the individual volunteer.
