In the heart of Bucharest, in 2003, a spark ignited within him. The vibrant graffiti art that adorned the city’s walls whispered stories of Romanian artists, and he listened, capturing their tales through his lens for the world’s first websites dedicated to these artists.

A new chapter unfolded in 2010 when he breathed life into ARTFEL Studio. A sanctuary for creativity, the studio specialized in fashion, inventive portraits, product, and advertising photography. 

For three years, he steered the studio, nurturing its growth and reputation. As the winter of 2015 set in, he embarked on a unique journey, a photo project named ‘Born in Underground’. 

He sought to capture the raw emotions of artists, their anticipation before concerts, and the catharsis that followed. This project painted a vivid picture of the Romanian underground music scene, culminating in the release of a book in 2019 (published by Filos Publishing House). 

The book, sharing the project’s name, was unveiled at the international photography festival Bucharest Photofest.

In the years 2021-2023, he played a pivotal role in the Bucharest Photofest. His keen eyecurated exhibitions, and his dedication ensured the production of high-quality prints, contributing to the smooth operation of the festival.

The year 2023 marked a significant milestone in his journey. He ventured to the land of fire and ice, securing an artistic residency in Iceland. There, he delved into the local underground scene, documenting it in its raw form. His work culminated in an exhibition in Reykjavik, further solidifying his mark in the world of photography.

George is also a graphic design, DOP and video producer of a couple of projects, from music and visual arts to commercial and corporate.
