SUMMARY:DANÍEL HJÁLMTÝSSON IN CONCERT\, Daníel Hjálmtýsson - IS | Live Concert
DESCRIPTION:Daníel Hjálmtýsson is an Icelandic musician known for his neo-goth rock style. He gained attention with his debut single “Birds” in early 2020. His music is characterized by dark\, atmospheric tones and introspective lyrics. \nIcelandic artist Daníel Hjálmtýsson started his relationship with Romania on a playground roughly three decades ago\, when stumbling upon the Romanian national football jersey. As a fan of Hagi and the mysterious landscapes and folk klore of the region\, Daníel felt there was a connection made and history would unfold a destiny. Visiting the country with his band in the summer of 2023\, Daníel shook locals in Bucharest\, Brașov and Cluj Napoca with performances in Control Club and at TIFF\, introducing his debut LP\, Labyrinthia. After the tour Daníel and his band visited the legendary radio station KEXP to perform a series of songs live on air and in house as a showcase of Icelandic music. A true pilgrimage of rock n roll. \nDaníel and his band are now putting the final touches on their sophomore album in the studio of fellow Icelandic musicians\, Of Monsters and Men. Showcasing the brooding atmosphere of the still untitled second LP\, “Mirror\, Mirror” will be it´s first single\, released in October of 2024. A music video will accompany the single and will be filmed and produced in Romania by Miluță Flueraș. \nAs part of the introduction to the new material\, Daníel will perform a very special and intimate show as part of Bucharest Photofest. Letting the audience into his songwriting state with a performance of the songs bare and naked as they came to be. The new album is expected for release in April of 2025.

SUMMARY:EL MADRE AND SORIN SEGA IN CONCERTEl Madre and Sorin Sega - RO | Live Music
DESCRIPTION:El Madre (vocals and effects) & Sorin Șega (guitar and effects) bring a Nomad Players concert\, a soothing blend of original songs and pieces inspired or reinterpreted from international folklore—a journey through the universal sound space in fusion rock jazz\, world music\, and sacred sounds. \nThe duo recently had the honor of performing at Planeta Nucșoara 2024\, Smida Jazz Festival 2023\, and at Noaptea Muzeelor 2023 in the courtyard of the National Museum “Constantin Brâncuși” in Tg. Jiu. They have also performed at festivals such as Bucharest Photofest 2023\, Bazar de Cotroceni 2023\, Weekend Sessions 2023\, StradArt 2022\, and Outernational Virtual Festival 2020\, as well as in artistic or independent spaces like art galleries across the country: Celula de Arta\, Apollo\, ArtHUB\, Echoes\, Londohome\, Zadar Bar\, Beat Bar (Bucharest)\, Convivial (Câmpulung)\, Wald Caffe (Brașov)\, Ma HUB (Oradea)\, Atelier 3/8\, and La Caiace (Piatra Neamț)\, etc. \nFor those ears and minds that seek a label for the style created by these two… Name it as you will\, it’s Love! From doina to reinterpretations of songs in Hebrew\, sound improvisations that evoke the gallop of tundra horses\, the atmosphere of the Caucasus\, the reverberation of Sufi songs\, and to mantras that place the effect of sound where it belongs—in the art and technique of working with sound as a tool for tuning the soul. \nEl Madre (Andreea Tincea) is the voice behind several music projects that share the same fervor and longing (Loungerie II – fusion punk jazz\, Cats in the Rain – jazz\, lounge and magic\, El Madre – world music\, Abator Industries – contemporary improvised music\, and other projects). The essence of this musical persona called El Madre is the Unity of Opposites and\, with due respect\, follows the values of a philosophia perennis that circulates through all the cultures of human civilization\, flourishing in every creative and expressive form. \nSorin Sega (guitar) has been part of projects like Bass Turbat and Four of a Kind [ro]. He accompanies and complements El Madre’s voice with ethereal sounds and rhythms that echo the simplicity and universal style of Order and Harmony\, translated into fusion-rock pieces\, world music\, and spiritual music.\nEl Madre and Sorin Sega invite you to a special moment of reconnecting with yourself and the joy of resonating together!
